There was a scuffle between Cole Custer and Tyler Reddick on pit road after Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.

The two drivers confronted one another and the incident escalated when other crew members jumped into the fray.

“I was just frustrated that he can’t keep the car on the bottom and runs us up into the wall,” Custer explained. “If he wants to wreck cars, that’s fine, but if it affects me that’s a problem.

“I wasn’t gonna hit him on the track, was just gonna show him I was unhappy with him.”

Reddick gave his side of the story.

“I understand Cole’s frustration 100 percent,” he said. “He came up to me on pit road, put a hand on me, I put one back…had a little fight with some people on pit road, it was fun.

“We’re pissed off. I’m sure we’ll talk about it in a day or two. I didn’t want to get into his quarter panel, but if I lift I get passed.”
